Yes, we do make house calls.

A computer consultant will make a professional house call to address your computer or networking issues. While we can fix or address practically any computer or network problem, not all instances will warrant a house call.

Here are examples of a problems that can be addressed with a house call:
Install or replace optical drives and additional hard drives
Install or replace peripherals such as sound cards, video cards, USB devices
Install additional memory
Install a broadband router or firewall
Install printers or scanners
Setup new computer from Dell, Gateway, HP, or Compaq
General computer cleanup to remove temporary files and cookies
Software installation

Here are examples of problems which may be addressed with a house call provided you have high speed internet access:
Update Operating System with latest service packs and updates
Update drivers and software with latest revisions
Address spyware and virus issues
(If the infection is severe, we may have to transport your computer to the shop)

Here are situations where a house call is not appropriate
and we recommend bringing your computer in for service
Severe Spyware Problems
Installing spyware programs will not remediate all spyware infections.
We have a five step spyware remediation program for severe infections.
This involves several scans and registry inspections that can take hours.
In some instances, complete remediation and repair is not possible and our only option is to reinstall your operating system,
we can preserve your important data (music files, photos, tax info, etc.)
We give you the option of an inexpensive rental to allow you to work while your computer is being serviced.
Severe Virus Inspections
Some viruses are stealthy to the point where installing the latest versions of antivirus programs will not be sufficient.
We have a 3 step process for virus removal, remediation, and repair that can take up to 72 hours.
We give you the option of an inexpensive rental to allow you to continue working while your computer is being serviced.

Beware of vendors that claim to address virus or spyware issues with a one or two hour house call. Our experience says it can't be done properly. Remember that simply installing an antivirus program or Spyware detection program is only the first step in having a problem free computer.
